Share to your friends via Facebook messenger

Finding the coolest stuff on the planet should be an experience shared by all. At Impulse, we make this possible by giving you the unique ability to share everything you see directly to your best mate or your squad’s lit group chat directly through Facebook messenger. That way, regardless of whether or not they have signed up to Impulse, they too can enjoy the Impulse experience and discover the next big thing.

Why Facebook messenger?

There is huge growth potential in the sphere of open social shopping, but sometimes online shopping requires a slightly more personal approach. Whether you want recommendations from close friends or sending a gift idea to a family member, our Facebook messenger allows you to discuss a product without the world knowing about it. Although you also have the ability on Impulse to share openly to Twitter and Facebook, we thought you’d appreciate this fun addition to your social shopping experience.

How?

If you want to share a product directly to Facebook messenger, you can do so in two ways: by clicking on the blue icon in the bottom-right of any product on your home feed or by selecting the blue icon on the product page itself (next to the other two share icons). It should be reasonably clear, it is bright blue.

OR

Once you’ve clicked on the blue Facebook messenger icon, you will be taken directly to Facebook where you simply need to enter a friend to whom you want to send the product and leave them a personal message.

We think this is a good opportunity to remind everyone what you want for your birthday or Christmas – leave no excuses for missing out on that awesome watch, tee, or other interesting find. Give it a go and wait for the presents to come rolling in. We hope.
